Lloyd entered the mortgage business in 1986.  His background includes mortgage banking, mortgage brokering and wholesale loan operations.  Lloyd worked at Waterfield Financial, NCNB (now B of A) and Citicorp before starting his own mortgage broker firm.  His specialty is in loan origination, sales & marketing, management, territory and relationship sales.  In addition to his mortgage background, Lloyd has been involved in Franchise sales, technology, Broker to Banker Consulting and Executive Recruiting.  He has been involved in several business development roles, ventures and most recently was the Director of Operations for a property acquisition firm.

 

He was involved with the Mortgage Brokers association (TAMB) for ten years serving on the local and state Executive Board of Directors and was President of the state association in 1997 and, as President, represented Texas as a Delegate Council member to the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.  Lloyd has been a member of the MBA, NAPMW and is still active in the mortgage and real estate community.

 

Lloyd has a BBA in Marketing from Texas State University, obtained a Microsoft Certification (MCSE) from Southern Methodist University. He is currently a Business Management and ERP Planning MBA Candidate at Lamar University.  He is a Texas State approved Mediator, Licensed NMLS/RMLO, Licensed by TREC and a Texas LTC/CHL Instructor and part time teacher at Champions School of Real Estate.

 

Lloyd is married to Kathy Arnold, a Realtor; they have five adult children and four grandchildren.
