Dana Wasson is a consultant to the mortgage and banking industries. She provides advice and support on regulatory and compliance challenges, product development, audit preparedness, business, operational and efficiency reviews and also strives to help lenders and bankers to operate effectively and profitably in the residential mortgage lending market by providing consulting and, in some instances, daily ongoing support.

 

Dana has been an active contributor to the industry for over 25 years and has developed numerous training courses for web platforms, as well as classrooms, and is a high-energy, active trainer with several of the top mortgage training companies as a freelance mortgage educator.  She has helped to create mortgage products that included development of the product from conception to guidelines for securitizations. 

 

 

She has successfully built and managed several large mortgage operation centers, risk management groups and exceptionally successful sales teams on both regional and national levels. She has co-authored numerous articles and is often a guest speaker at state and national mortgage events. Dana earned her degree in business and currently holds 8 state mortgage Loan licenses. She is also a graduate of the MBA Leaders Program and lives in the Lake Conroe area of Texas with her husband Craig and daughter Victoria.
